In co-operation with the Film Museum the European Foundation Joris Ivens will acquire all the films made by Joris Ivens on videotape. Although the Foundation already has disposal of the necessary film titles, the videotheque is far from complete. People in the Netherlands can view the tapes in the viewing room of the the Foundation. Researchers abroad can apply for the tapes exclusively for the purpose of research. Besides film titles, film material with interviews and the like have been collected. Marceline Loridan-Ivens has promised to contribute to the completion of this videotheque with the tapes she has at her disposal. In the following newsletter a list of titles will be published. A dozen students of Nijmegen University, faculty of Film and Performing Arts did research with the help of available titles at the beginning of this year.
