Joris Ivens is currently preparing an edition of Joris Ivens's
most important films on DVD. In collaboration with the Filmmuseum (Amsterdam),
CAPI Films (Paris) and the Digital Film Center (Huissen) we will make a collection
of 5 DVDs, which will include the following films: THE BRIDGE, RAIN, PHILIPS
RADIO, NEW EARTH, BORINAGE, THE SPANISH EARTH, THE 400 MILLION, INDONESIA CALLING,
THE SEINE MEETS PARIS, A VALPARAISO, THE MISTRAL, THE 17TH PARALLEL and UNE
HISTOIRE DE VENT (A TALE OF THE WIND). For the newest developments you can check
out our website regularly; we will keep you informed about the progress of this
long awaited publication.
